If you have just moved to the coast and are planning to visit the beach as much as you can, be aware that beach sand is insidious. If you've spent your life inland, you may not have had the experience of finding out just how quickly sand grains can multiply and take over your home (at least it seems like that's what they're doing). If you're going to drive your truck to the beach, you have the additional issue of trying to keep sand out of the truck bed, where it can get stuck, scratch the paint, and turn into a crusty layer that's nearly impossible to rinse out.
